Speaking after the event, England Golf Regional Manager Jason Budd said: “A huge thank you to Morpeth Golf Club’s team of volunteers, staff and competitors for putting on a fantastic event for the Junior Golf Tour.

“I’ve been running this event now for seven years and can quite honestly say that it’s been the best by a country mile.

“The attention to detail, the volunteers, staff, enthusiasm and not to mention the course, were all first class, and I can’t thank you enough for helping to create an incredible experience.

“I’ve been inundated from parents saying how impressed they were with everyone who turned up to support the event and they can’t wait to come back again.”
