Three county road events next month

A TRIO of cycling events are taking place in Northumberland next month for a range of category riders.

Barnesbury Cycling Club will hold its annual Hilly 21-mile Time Trial on the afternoon of Saturday, March 9, starting at Belsay.

Then on Sunday, March 24, it presents the 28-mile Ballantyne Memorial Trophy Road Race in the morning (fourth category riders only) and the 100km Sam Walton Memorial Border Trophy Road Race (open to elite, first, second and third category riders) in the afternoon.
