Another win for Park

Tillside (140) v Blagdon Park (144-7) Northumberland Cricket League, Premier Division

BLAGDON made hard work of the run chase, but they got there in the end to keep up the pressure on league leaders Bedlington.

The home side were struggling after Henry Blake took three wickets early in the innings.

Toby Culham (65) provided some stability. He was eventually trapped LBW by Alistair Clark, who claimed a further two scalps.

Paul Johnson took four middle and lower-order wickets as Tillside were all out for 140. Atkinson finished on 24 not out for the hosts.

In reply, the visitors were not comfortable after losing some early wickets.

But they won by three wickets thanks to decent knocks from Shaun Collins (47 runs off 47 balls), Mark Foster (23), Jack Concannon (19 not out) and Greg Senior (19 not out).
