SEVERAL top trainers have been recruited by the Border Riding Club to lead equestrian sessions at venues in Northumberland.
Gill Watson is the former trainer of the British gold-medal-winning Junior and Young Rider Event Team.
She is patient, enthusiastic and known for consistently getting combinations to deliver their best performances.
She will be joining members twice this year at the new Benridge Indoor Arena on the edge of Morpeth in March and July.
Pammy Hutton, joint principal of the Talland School of Equitation, is well-known as an international dressage rider and trainer and is currently involved in the training of three members of the gold-medal-winning Paralympics team.
She and her daughter Pippa will be teaching for the club in April at Benridge.
Les Smith has been involved with eventing for 35 years, having competed at all levels, including Badminton and Burghley.
He is a BE-accredited trainer and trains Olympic competitors. He is also an FEI international event judge and British Dressage List 2 Judge. He will be teaching in July.
