High quality action at horse trials

THE Burgham Horse Trials is back for its second event of the season this weekend.

Those set to compete include New Zealand Olympic medal winner Caroline Powell and British team member and past winner of both the Badminton and Burghley Horse Trials, Oliver Townend.

Contests in dressage, show jumping and cross country will take place in a beautiful setting on Saturday and Sunday.

The last few weeks have seen the organising committee working round the clock to make sure the facilities – particularly the ground – are in excellent condition and there will be plenty of stalls and outlets for spectators. Entry is payable on the gate on both days at £10 per car.
