BLAGDON’S excellent season continued with a comfortable home victory.
The visitors were reeling on 20 for five. Matthew Senior tore into the opening batsmen and claimed three scalps, there was a wicket for Henry Blake and James Sanders ran out Emery.
Although there was a recovery led by Patterson (46 not out), with a couple of Berwick players providing some decent support, the away side were dismissed for just 130.
Senior achieved a five-for and Alistair Clark, two, and Tom Lakey, one, took the other wickets.
Blagdon reached their victory target in just 26.1 overs. David Gibson played an excellent knock and his innings of 64 included a total of 14 fours.
Mark Foster scored 21, Sanders anchored the run chase and finished on 18 not out and Nigel Clough hit a quickfire 12.
