Young riders from the Morpeth group of the Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) are celebrating after achieving great success at the RDA National Championships in Hartpury, Gloucestershire.

Torrential rain meant the planned competition schedules had to be re-organised at short notice, but the team did not let it affect them and they came back with a host of rosettes.

Kaitlin Venus, riding Gilly, came first in the Combined Training, third in the Dressage and fourth in the Countryside Challenge sections.

Jordan Hartley, also riding Gilly, came fifth in Combined Training and fifth in Dressage, while Kieren Saddler on pony Domino was fifth in Combined Training, third in Dressage and fifth in the Countryside Challenge.

Chloe Wyatt, riding Domino, came second in Level 2 Show Jumping and Lloyd Hartshorne, riding Midnight, was fourth in Level 1 Show Jumping.
