A PONTELAND school dominated the opposition to win a Year 8 netball league trophy.

It has been a long season, with the league organised by the Blyth and Bedlington School Sport Partnership starting in September and finishing in May, but Richard Coates Middle School have been very consistent by winning 12 and drawing one of their 13 games. Chantry Middle School in Morpeth also did very well and its team finished third in the table.
