Tarling wins five medals in Argentina

At the World Transplant Games in Argentina there was medal successes for Susan Tarling, daughter of Jim Alder, and a former Morpeth Harrier.

She won five medals in all, the first an individual Silver in the 5k Road Race, which was also backed up by being part of a superb Great Britain team victory which brought each member respective Gold medals.

Another Gold medal came the way of Tarling in the 20k Cycle Race.

Tarling then went on to win another Silver in the pool in the 50m Breaststroke, then a third Gold in the Triathlon.

In all two Silver and three Gold medals in an extremely exhausting schedule, what a superstar she is, and her family and friends are all proud of her achievements, as are a number of supporters within her former club.
