MORE than 30 attractions will be offering discounts and deals in the annual Northumberland Residents’ Festival.

Various centres are taking part in the event, which this year coincides with Mothering Sunday.

Belsay Hall, Castle and Gardens, Kirkley Hall Zoological Gardens and Wallington are among those providing free or discounted entry to encourage residents to explore the county’s cultural offer.

And new to the list is Whitehouse Farm Centre, which is giving half-price entry, and Morpeth and Ponteland leisure centres, offering two-for-one swimming.

The festival is organised by Northumberland County Council in partnership with attractions.

It runs on Saturday, March 29 and Sunday, March 30. To download a voucher visit residentsfestival.northumberland.gov.uk or pick up a brochure from libraries, council offices, tourist information centres and sports centres.
