THERE is a unique opportunity to master the art of writing at a series of classes to be held at Ponteland Library in the coming weeks.

Writer and novelist Wendy Robertson is running sessions at the building in Thornhill Road on Thursday, February 24 and the following two Thursdays (March 3 and 10).

They are called I am inspired, I’d like to find my form and I speak as I find.

Wendy has produced 24 novels, a book of short stories and a number of articles. She has also been a writer-in-residence at a women’s prison.

Her latest venture is a hybrid memoir called The Romancer – on being a writer.

It costs £15 to attend all three masterclasses, each will run from 10.30am to 3.30pm.

A buffet lunch and refreshments will be provided.
