A taste of Africa

PEOPLE can enjoy a taste of African culture in Hepscott for a good cause.

There will be drumming and songs by the Bombadinga Group to get people on their feet, as well as Tanzanian food.

And those who attend will receive an update on the Jitegemee School Building Project, which is improving the lives of children in an area of the country.

The event will take place on Saturday, between 7pm and 9pm, at Fordwich House (NE61 6LN). People are asked to make donations of £8 per person or £15 for families.

For more information, including anyone who would like to volunteer to help run the evening, telephone Carlotta Johnson on 01670 514129.
