AN enjoyable series of summer walks, which included visits to The Hoppings, Hulne Park, Rio Tinto Alcan Smelter in Lynemouth and the Northumbrian University campus, came to a conclusion when Morpeth Camera Club members visited Tanfield Railway Gala.
The club then started its new season on Tuesday evening when Life President Vince Rooker gave a presentation on the Northern Counties Photographic Federation International Print Salon.
It will meet every Tuesday from 7.30pm at Morpeth Methodist Church. This Tuesday’s event is Chairman’s Night.
The programme for the new season includes various speakers, inter-club and internal competitions, involving prints, digital images and audio-visual presentations, teaching sessions on digital techniques, practical nights and social evenings.
An event called An Eye For Nature will be held on November 8. It will be presented by the internationally-recognised natural history photographer Rob Jordan, who is a former member of the club.
