Members of the Morpeth Matters Facebook group are getting ready to showcase high quality images of the town in aid of a good cause.

The free exhibition of amateur photographs will take place on Wednesday in the Town Hall. Tea or coffee will be available.

Donations will be requested for Henry Dancer Days, a charity set up by member Jane Nattrass in memory of her son to provide help for families of children with cancer, particularly Osteosarcoma and Ewings sarcoma.

Those who attend the preview event on Tuesday evening will receive a glass of wine, a mince pie and a chance to meet and chat with the photographers. There will also be an auction and live music – tickets are priced £5.

A total of 150 photographs will be on display. They were chosen from 800 submissions. For more information, email morpethmatters@outlook.com
