Marjorie Holt and Christine Ogle of Morpeth Flower Club recently took part in a Flower Festival in St Andrew's Church, Newcastle celebrating the 350th year of The Book of Common Prayer.  Their exhibit depicted the Morning Psalm 24 whose opening words are:'"The earth is the Lord's and all that therein is: the compass of the world, and they that dwell therein"

Morpeth Flower Club

TWO Morpeth club members showed off their flower power in a North East exhibition.

Marjorie Holt and Christine Ogle, who are members of Morpeth Flower Club, helped to mark the 350th year of The Book of Common Prayer at a flower festival at St Andrew’s Church in Newcastle. Their exhibit depicted the Morning Psalm 24, which opens: “The Earth is the Lord’s and all that therein is: The compass of the world, and they that dwell therein.”

Metal Flora will be the theme for Morpeth Flower Club at its next meeting. Members will hear from Area Demonstrator Wendy Smith on the topic.

The group meets at St James’s Centre in Wellway on Wednesday, at 7.30pm.
