Free history talk on the trenches

A Morpeth partnership project is presenting a third free talk on the First World War.

The Heritage Lottery Funded initiative has seen Morpeth Antiquarian Society team up with King Edward VI School to research the conflict during its centenary.

As part of the work, military historian John Sadler will talk about Life In The Trenches at St James’s Centre, in Wellway, tomorrow, at 7.30pm.

The lecture is open to all with an interest in the subject.
