Fund-raising in style at charity lunch

THE latest fashions were on parade at a fund-raising charity lunch.

Morpeth and District Macmillan Cancer Support group organised the event at Linden Hall Golf and Country Club near Longhorsley last week.

Around 100 women attended the three-course lunch on Thursday to help raise funds for the charity

And there was an extra treat in store when department store Rutherfords of Morpeth presented a mini fashion show.

Six models took part in the parade, showcasing outfits from the store’s spring/summer collection.

Money raised from the event will help to support cancer patients and their families.
