A RANGE of quality crafts from quilts and jewellery to hand-turned pens and soaps are available at an event near Morpeth this weekend.
Members of The Society of Northumbrian Craftsmen will be displaying and selling their work at the Summer Craft Fair, which will be held in Heighley Gate Nursery and Garden Centre.
The group was founded in 1976 and currently has 25 members. The main aim of the society is to encourage a high standard of design and craftsmanship.
Heighley Gate’s General Manager Roger Wale said: “The Summer Craft Fair will be a good opportunity for people to purchase unique hand-made items, all of which have been made by crafters from the society. There will be more than 15 stalls.
“This is the first time The Society of Northumbrian Craftsmen have been to our garden centre and we hope lots of people come to support the event.”
The fair will take place on Saturday from 10am until 4pm and Sunday between 11am and 4pm. For more information telephone 01670 513416.
