SURPLUS library stock will be up for grabs in a local history book sale.
The sale, which will be held at Morpeth Library in Gas House Lane, follows a clear-out of old stock.
And librarian and local history expert Anne Newbury will be on hand to advise people on their research, particularly family history.
She said: “The sale is a result of very painstaking revision of the very extensive county library local history stock. This material is surplus to our needs and is very popular with book collectors and anyone interested in the history of the county in general.”
The sell-off begins tomorrow (Friday) at 10am and runs until 7.30pm. It will resume on Saturday, running from 9.30am to noon.
