Imaginations running wild

A GROUP of residents can let their imagination run wild at Pegswood Community Project.

A creative writing class specifically for over 50s has been launched, which will cover both poetry and story writing.

It will be delivered by Roxana Freeman, a scriptwriter for television and films who has been involved with a number of productions at the Live Theatre in Newcastle.

The sessions will take place over the next ten Tuesdays between 1pm and 3pm at a total cost of £30.

It is hoped that they will lead to a permanent writing group being formed.
