Lots to see at one of the county’s biggest shows

An afternoon of fun, games, displays and unusual events is in store at the annual Whalton Village Show on Saturday, which starts at 11am.

The entertaining line-up includes the Drakes of Hazard, Mark Wylie’s sheepdog and duck display team, the KEVI Steel Band and sheep racing. There are many other attractions such as a classic car display, craft stalls and fairground rides.

Entry prices are as follows: £6 adults, £4 OAPs, £3 children.
