Packed agenda at Wallington

FROM a popular puppet show to super stories – there are plenty of performances to enjoy at Wallington in the coming days.

The Cambo estate will invite people to join its book conservation team in the Central Hall tomorrow (Friday) to find out the secrets of conservation and caring for books.

Then on Saturday there is a Best of British celebration, from 11am to 3pm, with themed activities, crafts and trails.

On Saturday, and again on Tuesday, there will be Punch and Judy shows at 11.30am, 1.30pm and 3pm, with face painting opportunities in between.

And Best of British storytelling sessions will take place on Sunday at 11.30am, 12.30pm, 2pm and 3pm. Face painting is available from 11am to 4pm.

There is a small charge for face painting, but no extra cost for the puppet shows and storytelling.

On Wednesday, Krafty Kidz will invite youngsters to have a go at making crafts, with charges ranging from £2 to £6 per item made. They are advised to dress for mess.
