Artists of the future will showcase their work in an open event at Ponteland High School.
The Ponteland High Arts Showcase takes place next week to celebrate students’ achievements and display their work to the wider community.
The event will mainly feature final A-Level exam work by Year 13 students, but visitors will also get the chance to see outstanding art from Year 12 and GCSE pupils, work from the Year 10 textiles class, projects by GCSE Media Studies students and fashion items made out of recycled materials by youngsters in the school’s extra-curricular Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) club.
People are also invited to see what is going on in other areas of the school.
The event takes place at the school on Wednesday, from 6.30pm to 8pm.
