CHILDREN can pick up traditional skills this half-term in a Medieval Tile Making workshop.
The craft session at Morpeth Library in Gas House Lane is being led by local historian Barry Mead, who perfected the art when working at Woodhorn Museum.
It is suitable for children aged six to 12 years, but under eights must be accompanied by an adult.
The workshop will take place on Wednesday, from 10.30am to 11.30am. Entry is £2 per child to cover the cost of materials.
