A NEW poetry book written by people across the world was recently launched in Morpeth.

Every Day Poets is an international e-zine, publishing one poem every day, and it is edited by Pegswood writer Oonah V Joslin.

The first anthology, The Best of Every Day Poets One, is now available.

At the launch event, a group from Inhouse Writers, who meet once a week, each did readings of their favourite poems from the publication.

The project is now in its third year and Oonah is hoping that more poetry will be submitted by Northumberland writers.

“Online magazines have really taken off in the past few years and with the advent of electronic books, the worldwide web is really the place to be,” she said.

“This magazine showcases your poem for a whole day and you get to promote your work all over the world.”
