Fund-raisers get crafty

TWO Morpeth pupils are brewing up funds for charity.

Rebecca Marsden and Jessica McKenzie, both 16, will hold a coffee morning and craft fair this weekend in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support and Grafters, which helps children with burns injuries.

The King Edward VI School students, who both live in Swarland, have already raised more than £1,000 after a bag-pack at Sainsbury’s in Alnwick.

The latest event will be held at Morpeth Methodist Church in Howard Terrace on Saturday, from 10am to 2pm. It will include a raffle, tombola and stalls.
