Acclaimed quartet is the society’s stunning season finale

AN internationally acclaimed quartet will close the season for Morpeth Music Society.

The Prazak string quartet, which has been lauded by critics, will perform the final concert of the season at Morpeth Methodist Church next Thursday.

The ensemble will open with Mozart’s second Prussian quartet, followed by Janacek’s Quartet No 1 Kreutzer Sonata and Smetana’s Quartet No 1 in E minor From My Life.

The concert begins at 7.30pm.

Tickets cost £12, free for students, and are available from Morpeth Methodist Church, Morpeth Tourist Information Centre or Society Secretary Mrs Cunningham on 01670 513369.
