More than 70 school pupils performed at a Morpeth garden centre to help raise charity funds.

The students from Chantry and Newminster Middle Schools in Morpeth, part of The Three Rivers Learning Trust, performed at Wyevale’s Heighley Gate Garden Centre on Saturday.

They were helping the garden centre’s fund-raising activities in aid of the Henry Dancer Days charity, which provides support to children and young people 18 years and under diagnosed with Primary Bone Cancer – henrydancerdays.co.uk/

The pupils provided a varied programme of music interspersed with dance demonstrations with some of the work they have been rehearsing for the joint schools’ summer showcase being performed to visitors as well.
