Dozens of young performers have shown off their talents in this year’s Wansbeck Music Festival.

The event was held in various venues in Morpeth and Ashington, including St George’s United Reformed Church in Morpeth and the new Music School building at Morpeth King Edward VI School (KEVI).

Morpeth Mayor Nic Best officially opened the competition at KEVI, and the contest was adjudicated by Gill Johnston.

Prizewinners from Morpeth were as follows:
