SOME early Easter treats are in store at Hebron’s community hall on Saturday.
Following the success of her Christmas event, chef Helen Moran is holding another Something for the Weekend cookery demonstration.
As ever, she is putting a unique twist on the concept and has come up with both historic and modern delights.
Mrs Moran said: “The audience will experience food in the fast lane, or at least, food prepared in advance and cooked to suit the situation. There will also be ideas to have on a plate while watching the Royal Wedding.
“The public will be greeted with tasty canapés courtesy of Jus-Roll, liquid refreshments and a fun competition from Beamish Museum.”
The event in St Cuthbert’s Church starts at 1.30pm. Tickets, priced £10, are available by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by telephone on 01670 515616.
