The excitement of the theatre is coming to various parts of the county.
Northumberland Theatre Company (NTC) productions will take place in town and village venues and Longhirst Village Hall is staging the first performance of the season.
Rallying Round, written by Stewart Howson, is described as a rollicking comedy/drama about youth, age and two very different worlds colliding with compassion.
Old soldier Airchie (played by Mr Howson) cons young Mo (played by Peter Swales) into giving him a lift to Monte Carlo, although Airchie is pretty hazy about the route and even their destination.
The performance of the play at Longhirst is being held tomorrow night from 7.30pm. Individual tickets are £10 for adults and £5 for children while a family ticket costs £15.
The other NTC production touring this autumn is Notes from the Front – venues include Morpeth Town Hall on Saturday, November 15.
