THERE could be plenty of laughs in store in Whalton residents’ latest production.

Whalton Drama Society will stage a fictional comedy, telling the story of what happens when old and young team up to take on unscrupulous property speculators who want to drive people out of a row of homes.

Old Habits Die Hard, written by Fiona Ellis and directed by Cinzia Hardy, promises to be packed with humorous scenes, and the plot includes men dressing up as nuns, ghosts and a funeral. It is suitable for adults and children aged eight and over.

The play will take place on Friday, March 9 and Saturday, March 10, in Whalton Village Hall from 7.30pm.

Tickets are priced £7 for adults and £4 for under 16s. To book them, telephone 01670 775485.
