A WHISTLE-STOP tour of the greatest Greek myths ever told is being offered in a Northumberland village.

Temple Theatre will present its award-winning Unmythable at Hepscott Parish Hall tomorrow.

The fast-paced show invites audiences to set sail with Jason and the Argonauts as he embarks on the quest to bring back the Golden Fleece.

Legendary heroes, deadly monsters and epic fights are brought to life by the three actors, using song, comedy and physical theatre.

People can find out more about all the Greek myths they’ve ever heard of, and some they never knew existed.

There is the Odyssey told from a foot-soldier’s perspective, Midas after the gold ran out and an insight into what happened in the wooden horse.

The adventure is suitable for audiences aged eight and over.

Unmythable was premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival last year, where it won a Three Weeks award.

It is being brought to the Hepscott stage through the Highlights Rural Touring Scheme.

The show takes place at 8pm tomorrow.

Tickets cost £10, £4 concession, including a buffet. They are available on 01670 514031.
