A FAST-PACED and faithful adaptation of a Charles Dickens novel will be performed in Pegswood on Saturday.
The semi-autobiographical David Copperfield follows a vulnerable boy on his journey to manhood, exploring the struggle against poverty and obscurity as well as loss and loneliness.
It is being brought to the stage by the Mad Dogs and Englishmen Theatre Company as part of the internationally-celebrated bicentennial year of Dickens’ birth.
The performance will take place in Pegswood Community Hub from 7.30pm. Tickets are priced £6.50 for adults, £4 concessions and £16 for a family group.
