A VERY special tea party will be held at a Northumberland college as events get curiouser and curiouser.

The mad activities will be going on at Northumberland College’s Kirkley Hall campus near Ponteland next week as it plays host to an outdoor performance of Alice — An Extraordinary Adventure.

The fast-paced family production is brought to the hall by Heartbreak Productions, which has more than 20 years of experience in touring theatre and is recognised as being one of the most prestigious and high-quality such companies in the country.

The performance promises to be full of engaging dialogue, inspiring music and magical adventure.

The audience will meet Alice and follow her enchanted journey that leads her to a chaotic underground world and encounters with such characters as the White Rabbit, the Mad Hatter, Tweedledum and Tweedledee.

The show takes place at Kirkley Hall on Thursday, August 29, at 3pm.

Tickets cost £12 for adults and £8 for children, and booking is essential.

Visitors are encouraged to take along their own blankets or chairs and picnic on the lawn prior to the performance. Refreshments will also be available.
