TIME is running out to get your tickets for Ponteland High School’s musical show.

For the past five months, 28 students have been rehearsing for this year’s production – Our House. As a result of the high levels of talent at the auditions, the main parts are double-cast.

It is an uplifting tale of love, redemption, heartbreak and hilarity. The setting has been changed from London to Newcastle.

The story splits into two versions of lead character Joe. One shows what happens when he chooses to face the music after breaking the law and the other when he decides to run away.

It is set to songs by the band Madness and includes many of their famous hits, such as Our House, Baggy Trousers, My Girl and Driving in My Car.

As the show gets closer, the students involved have been giving up their free time at weekends and a couple of days during half-term this week in addition to their normal rehearsals.

It runs from Tuesday, March 4 to Friday, March 7. Tickets, priced at £5, are available from the school office – call 01661 824711.
