Alnwick's Back - watch this young filmmaker's video supporting businesses the town
With the easing of lockdown, we've been encouraging our readers to #SupportLocal - and here's an Alnwick resident who has used his filmmaking skills to do just that.

Gabriel Brown, a student at Northumbria University studying Film and TV Production, wanted to use his talents to benefit the town's businesses.
On June 15, non-essential retailers across the country reopened with measures in place to combat the transmission of COVID-19. Retail bosses recently revealed they have been ‘overwhelmed’ by the response so far.
Gabriel, 20, who is also a freelance filmmaker and a Film and TV assistant teacher at PQA Sunderland, has certainly captured the buoyant spirit of the town's independent traders.
Filmmaker and Alnwick resident Gabriel Brown has made #ALNWICKSBACK to support the town's business as they cautiously emerge from lockdown.
To produce the video, Gabriel worked with The Alnwick Gallery, Hotspur 1364, Marilyn & Melrose, Matt Robson Artwork, The Origami Café & Gift Shop, Penn Gallery, Robinson’s, The Rolling Pin and Ruby Tuesday Alnwick.
