The 14 Covid hotspots in Northumberland as cases rise in Alnwick area
Covid-19 levels across Northumberland now paint a mixed picture.
Case rates in the west of the county, which have been the highest for several weeks, are generally stabilising or falling.
However, isolated areas in the north and south-east of the county have recorded an increase in cases.
Latest data from Public Health England, published by Northumberland County Council, reveals the county-wide infection rate was 235.7 per 100,000 on January 13.
There were 755 confirmed positive cases in the seven days up to that date.
By comparison, on January 6 the county-wide infection rate was 304.1 per 100,000 with 974 confirmed cases.
