Covid-19 rates are continuing to fall across many parts of Northumberland but there are still a number of areas recording a significant number of cases.

Data from Public Health England published Northumberland County Council reveals there were 129.9 positive cases per 100,000 in the week to February 8. There were 416 positive cases recorded over the same period.

Here are the 21 areas of Northumberland with the highest Covid rates in the week to February 8.

There were 14 positive cases in Norham and Islandshires and the rate is 332.9 per 100,000.
There were 16 positive cases in Berwick East in the week to February 8 and the rate is 330.5 per 100,000.
There were 16 positive cases in Newsham where the rate is 317.1.
There were 14 positive cases in Blyth's Isabella ward where the rate is 295.0.
There were 12 positive cases in Cramlington Village ward where the rate is 268.5.
There were 15 positive cases in Cramlington West where the rate is 266.5.
There were 14 positive cases in Seaton with Newbiggin West where the rate is 269.3.
There were 12 positive cases in Morpeth Stobhill ward where the rate is 244.2.
There were 11 positive cases in Bothal ward where the rate is 241.8.
