THE full line-up of this pantomime dance troupe has been identified by their former teacher.
Christine Barron, who has run Centrestage Theatre School in Morpeth for more than 30 years, immediately recognised her former students in this Image of Yesteryear from 25 years ago.
The picture shows some of the stars of Morpeth Pantomime Society’s production of Dick Whittington.
And after teaching them in dance classes, and forming the society itself, Ms Barron was well placed to tell us who they are.
From the front they are Michela Guanziroli, Vanessa Tindale, Clare Turnbull, Karen Creighton, Melanie Simpson, who went on to dance professionally, Elissa Taylor, who also danced professionally and now has two children in the dance school, Denise Rockett and Claire Smith.
Ms Barron said: “They were all students of mine who danced in our part of the show for the pantomime society that we formed.
“I still have the dance school in the town .
“Dancing has come to the forefront now and everyone seems to want to do it.”
