MEMBERS met at St Margaret’s Church Hall for our AGM.
Mrs Marjorie Goodchild was our WIA for the evening.
Starting the meeting with Jerusalem, we then heard the minutes for the last year, bringing back all the good times we had — a special 70th birthday party, days out, also the terrible winter we had, but nearly everyone turned up for our monthly meeting, well done members.
Mrs Goodchild spoke about the resolutions that are to be put forward at the AGM in Liverpool in June. These were discussed and voted on.
The committee was voted in unchanged, but we are pleased to see our membership has grown over the last few months. We will always welcome new members to our group.
The yearly competition was won by Mrs Ann Hall. Competition for the night was won by Mrs Elsie Lewis. The raffle was won by Mrs Ann Hall.
The next meeting is on June 7.
