A Northumberland village craft fair has highlighted some great local talent as artists from across the county came together.
Organisers of the Stannington Craft Fair staged their first such event earlier this month and hope that many artists will come back in the future.
The Village Hall became a hive of activity as craftspeople and artists from near and far showcased their creations.
The work included everything from handmade crafts, original artwork and bespoke jewellery to hand-picked gifts and vintage retro items.
One of the local craftspeople who displayed her work at the fair was Julie Simpson.
She is one of a handful of experienced paper engineers, who fold words into books, creating beautiful 3D sculptures. The book is not damaged in any way and the reading content remains intact.
Fair organiser Elsa Maza said that event had been quite quiet in the morning, but had picked up as the day went on.
She added that it was a great success, especially considering that it was the first time the fair had been held.
