Alnwick resident on cue to take on the world
The 28-year-old, who lives in Alnwick, has been chosen to play in the 2017 Chinese Pool World Championships, which starts this week.
He will fly out to the Asian country tomorrow.
Chris was selected for the tournament because he was highest earner in the last three months for English 8 ball. The world’s best snooker players, including Mark Selby, Judd Trump, Ding Junhui and Ali Carter, and seven-time World Snooker Champion Stephen Hendry, are also in the field for the event.

Chris said: “I have been playing cuesports competitively for a few years now and reached the final of a world championship event in 2014.
“I have won numerous tournaments across England, but I cannot believe that I have been personally invited to China to take on the best players across the globe.
“I recently went back to my home town in Yorkshire to practice on some of the few Chinese tables in this country to get used to this type of pool.
