A MORPETH man was one of six keen cyclists from Rowlands Accountants who covered almost 200 miles in two days to support two charities.

Andrew Little, along with David Nairn, John White, Andrew Wimhurst, Peter Ledgerwood and Dean Lamb from other parts of the North East, raised more than £5,000 for Henry Dancer Days and The Daisy Chain Project, which help children with a type of bone cancer and autism respectively.

The challenge started and finished at the Angel of the North, adjacent to the firm’s Birtley office, and also took in the offices at Ponteland, Hexham, Newcastle, Sunderland, Yarm, Crook and Durham.
