Angels to descend on Morpeth

Hundreds of angels are descending on Morpeth in the run-up to Christmas.

Members and friends of St George’s United Reformed Church has been knitting angels in a host of shapes, sizes and colours.

On Sunday, they will be dedicated by the Rev Stuart Brock at a service in the church at 10.30am. All welcome.

Between December 18 and 20, the angels will be winging their way around Morpeth.

Anyone lucky enough to find one can take it home and let it spread the true meaning of Christmas.
