AS part of its 40th anniversary celebrations, Morpeth Lions Club is to host an exhibition in the Town Hall.
It takes place on Wednesday and Thursday, July 12, from 9am to 5pm, and comprises photographs, press releases and memorabilia.
A Morpeth Lion will attend the exhibition at all times who will be happy to answer any questions that might be raised.
Organising Lion Les Brindley said: “We look on this exhibition as a means of informing the public of the varied activities we undertake and the organisations we assist..
“Above all, it is a way of saying ‘thank you’ to everyone in the area who is so generous when we are fundraising.
“This will also be an opportunity to display the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service that was presented to the Club in 2009. This is normally kept in the Mayor’s Parlour.”
