Appeal after club burglary

EXTRA police are on the ground in Pegswood after the Club was burgled.

Around 1.15am on Friday, November 2, burglars broke into Pegswood ex servicemen’s club in Front Street.

Once inside they stole a small amount of cash from two gaming machines before making off.

Neighbourhood Inspector Dave Simpson said: “Inquiries into the burglary are ongoing and we are carrying out extra patrols in Pegswood as a precaution.

“I’d appeal for anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious late that night or early this morning to get in touch with us as soon as they can.”
