MORPETH’S Sanderson Arcade shopping centre will be going all patriotic for the Olympic Games.

The complex will be dressed in British bunting and Union Jack flags and the Beadles will also be suited and booted in red, white and blue waistcoats and ties to mark the special occasion.

Sky will be showing the events on a large television screen throughout the day with the opportunity to view some of the events in 3D.

Barluga Morpeth has come up with a special menu for customers to enjoy while they watch all the sporting action, which includes a Best of British afternoon tea.

There is also a host of other Olympic special offers on site from a number of retailers as well as live music on most Saturdays.

Sanderson Arcade Centre Manager Medi Parry said: “We are really excited about having the Olympic Games on show here at the Arcade.

“It’s a real opportunity for us all to really feel a part of it.

“We hope people will come along and enjoy watching some of the events together.”
