Pedal power is the theme of the latest decoration in the gallery at Sanderson Arcade in Morpeth.
The bikes, which have been put in place to link with the Tour of Britain coming to Northumberland next week, are on loan from Beamish Museum in County Durham. They date from the 19th and early 20th century.
In addition, staff from the Arcade and various stores will pedal on spinning bikes in the piazza from 8am to 6pm on Wednesday as part of the centre’s 12-month fund-raising for Barnabas Safe and Sound.
Representatives from the charity and Morpeth Rotary Club will also be taking part and shoppers are welcome to do a five-minute stint.
