Young Morpeth club members are preparing for their annual Bargain Bazaar.
The fund-raiser for the Boys’ Brigade and 6th Morpeth Scout Group is a long-standing tradition in the town, offering an Aladdin’s cave of second-hand items for sale.
The event is an important source of financial support for the youth groups.
It will run at the Boys’ Brigade headquarters in Manchester Street and the opening day is this Saturday from 9am to 4pm. It will then be available from Monday to the following Saturday between 10am and 4pm.
Roger Ashmore of the 6th Morpeth Scout Group said: “There is always an enormous range of incredible bargains and items available include glassware, crockery and porcelain, kitchenware and hardware of all sorts, bicycles, tools and hardware, bric-a-brac, ornaments, toys, clocks and jewellery, lighting, electrical items such as computers, linen, furniture, pictures and frames, jigsaws, books, DVDs, CDs and old records.”
